What is discrimination?
Discrimination is a negative behaviour that entails unequal and unfavourable treatment of an individual or group based on certain conditions. It is the external and visible manifestation of prejudice, and in practice, it constitutes a violation of fundamental rights, with direct and serious consequences for those affected.
While some situations stem from personal attitudes, discrimination also has a structural dimension that impacts society as a whole across various domains.
